It all began with an idea. what would you do if you are creating a project from scratch that has one of your favorite passions?

I was so happy to start this project from start to finish, the ideation, the crazy eights, the low fidelity wireframes, to high fidelity wireframes to user research until the very end of the final prototype (which can be iterated again!)

the case study for this concert ticketing mobile app ”Conticks!” the app for all concert lovers everywhere!!

The product:

A concert ticketing app, which will enable concert goers to have fun and book their favorite event and browse similar events.

Project duration:

One Month (March 2022 = completion)

The project overview , contains the main problem faced in the ideate and emphasize phase of the project, where I had to identify the user problems , needs and find a solution to the issues the users were facing, and combining the goal of the project.

The purpose is to allow every music fan and concert goer to enjoy their time while browsing our app and get excited while making a booking or making plans, basically stripping myself from any biases and focusing primarily on the users need and how this project and design will help them do something they enjoy doing!

User Research summary:

I made one on one interviews with multiple Users for this concert ticketing app, created Personas , identified the user needs and shared Ideas, took notes to be able to create a prototype and let the users have a test drive using it, mainly concert goers and music fans from all ages, backgrounds shapes and sizes!

UX Research (the pain points):

The initial emphasize process, after conducting usability studies and testing, its time to analyze and see how we can improve our designs to fit the user needs.

  • Mihaela Would want  one to book a private seat type ( booth )so she can take urgent calls if needed

  • Kamal wants to see the amount of tickets left for sale to encourage him to book early

  • Kamal would want to check the stage design so he can take photos while in the concert

  • Users would want to purchase Merchandise in advance and receive a voucher for the amount paid prior to the concert

User Journey map:

As a UX designer, we have to ideate and emphasize with users in order to give the best user center results that will enhance the user experience, and this means taking everything into consideration and analyze the research findings to improve our design.

The fun part “Digital wireframes”:

The Goal is to create a low fidelity wireframe for the concert ticketing app:

  • I created a basic low fidelity wireframe on Figma to display the layout of the main page the user will be able to see.

  • This contains, logo, event list, more info button, image of the event, menu button, profile button and event info section

  • I created a basic low fidelity wireframe on Figma to display the second page layout of the info related tot he selected event.

  • Showing even info in text and images

  • Allowing user to book using the book button to confirm their selection of the event.

The before and after, the design phase of transformation between wireframe to mockup after multiple iterations and enhancements based on user research conducted.
